چکیده
Introduction: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a debilitating disorder that restricts the physical activity of patients who are deprived sunlight, which source vitamin D. The purpose this study was to assess relationship between D and frequency exacerbation hospitalization among with COPD.
Material Method: In main analysis, 303 COPD (stage GOLD A D) were included in retrospective cohort Turkey. Serum levels (25-hydroxyvitamin measured associated function, AECOPD previous year. Results: For patients, mean reference level 25 hydroxyvitamin serum 12.5 ng/dL. comparison serious 25-hydroxyvitamin deficiency (< 10 ng/dL, n=119 [39,3%]), moderate (10-19.99 n=100 [33%]), inadequate (20-29.99 n=49 [16,2%]) presented different risk (incidence rate ratio, 2.3 [95% CI, 1.9-2.6], 1.6 1.2-2.0], 0.8 0.3-1.2] respectively). desirable (> 30 n=34 [11,2%]), lower but not significant 0.7 0.2-1.2]. rates low correlated 1-s forced expiratory volume (FEV1) (r=0.187, p=0.0013).
 Conclusion: frequent occurrence patients.

The present study was designed to investigate the relationship between serum vitamin D and forced expiratory volume in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods: From September 2011 to April 2012 eighty consecutive patients with COPD presented to an outpatient clinic of Babo...
