Association between vitamin D levels and frequency of disease exacerbations and hospitalizations in patients with COPD

Introduction: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a debilitating disorder that restricts the physical activity of patients who are deprived sunlight, which source vitamin D. The purpose this study was to assess relationship between D and frequency exacerbation hospitalization among with COPD.
 Material Method: In main analysis, 303 COPD (stage GOLD A D) were included in retrospective cohort Turkey. Serum levels (25-hydroxyvitamin measured associated function, AECOPD previous year.
